Description
The grapes for this wine come from two choice sites on the Sperling family’s premium Stellenbosch vineyards of South Africa. A rich and complex take on Chenin Blanc the wine is fermented in French oak using wild yeasts before ageing on the lees for seven months. A stunning and unique wine that shows top quality, minimal intervention winemaking of this family estate.
A Complex array of wild fermentation characteristics are ever present in this edition of the Delheim Wild Ferment Chenin Blanc. Dominant fragrances on stone fruits and orange peel supported by a subtle notes of honey suckle. Vibrant fruit with plentiful mouth feel and lasting finish on the palate. A truly beautiful display of an old vineyard portraying its story.
