Description
Graham’s was one of the first Port companies to invest in its own vineyards in Portugal’s Douro Valley in 1890 and is now at the cutting edge of innovation in winemaking techniques. This makes Graham’s a pioneer since always.
Today five cousins of Symington family share responsibility for every aspect of the company and personally make the Graham’s wines. Grahams White Port fermented for a longer time allowing more of the fruit sugars to be reduced by natural yeast.
It is a blend of traditional Portuguese white grapes varieties. This gives the wine its attractive crispness and young citrus fruit flavours.
Tasting Note
Grahams White Port is a dry fruity Port with floral aromas and a long crisp finish. It has a refreshingly zesty grapefruit character.
Storage & Serving
It makes an excellent aperitif and can also be used in a number of cocktails, including the famous Port & Tonic.
The flavours are particularly enhanced by the addition of a twist of lemon and fresh mint once poured over ice with 2/3 Tonic.
It should be served chilled, between 6 and 10º Celsius.
