Description
Glenfiddich 12Yr Triple Oak Single Malt Scotch is aged in American oak and European sherry barrels for twelve years before being blended with a single malt from new French oak barrels. This triple maturation intensifies its profile and gives it sweet notes of vanilla, toasted almonds and lingering touches of ginger and spices.
Nose: Pleasant with lots of fruit aromas (blood oranges, apples), flowers
Palate: Vanilla from the wood. Taste: round and soft, melts in the mouth, wonderful aromas, sweets and notes of honey, slightly spicy.
Finish: The aftertaste is rather short, aromas of nuts and vanilla and a light note of spices
