J.J Whitley was always inspired by a curiosity of botanicals that were accessible to the quintessential British country garden and J.J Whitley Violet Gin is a prime example of the eight generations of distilling influence.

One of the 3 key ingredients of all contemporary gin distillation is Angelica Root which ironically is the base of the Iris or Violet flower. This recipe uses a blend of an additional 7 botanicals namely Juniper, Coriander, Liquorice Root, Orange Peel, Lemon Peel, Cassia Bark and the English country garden Violet flower.

Tasting Notes
A smooth and refined fragrant floral note complimented by a delicate palate of English country garden violets. The rounded finish it balanced by an earthy sweetness of liquorice root and herbaceous juniper berries.
